The Rekifune River Seiryu Carp Streamers are a spring tradition that takes place every year from late April to early May, when carp streamers are swam across the width of the Rekifune River. They apparently receive donations of unused carp streamers. The carp streamers swimming across the entire river area are a spectacular sight. It depends on the wind and weather, but they won't swim unless there's a moderate breeze.
