Riverside Cafe by the Green Railway in Taichung: Hunger

A coffee and dining establishment by the riverside of the Green Railway, with large floor-to-ceiling windows on both the first and second floors, offering direct views of the Green River, which is quite comfortable. The interior space retains the rough mud walls, with a cozy sofa area on the first floor and long tables on the second floor, creating an overall relaxed and textured atmosphere. Even when the sun is shining brightly outside, it's still very comfortable to sit inside. The menu features Italian pasta, with distinctive offerings like orecchiette, hand-torn pasta, and long curly pasta, all flavorful whether stir-fried or slow-cooked. I ordered the hand-torn pork orecchiette with a white wine sauce base, which was refreshingly less greasy than typical pasta dishes. You can upgrade your main course to a set meal, which includes a side dish and a choice of a 120-dollar drink. For the side dish, I chose a salad that was more like a warm salad with tofu and grains, reminiscent of marinated side dishes, and for the drink, I went with a red guava sparkling beverage.
