Taeanhaean National Park

Taean Coast National Park was designated as the 13th national park in Korea in 1978. It has 27 beaches along the 230km coastline that runs north to south from the Taean Peninsula and Anmyeondo Island, and has a total area of 377.019㎢. Since ancient times, there have been no major natural disasters, and life has been easy due to the mild climate and abundant food, so the name Taean (泰安) was used. The tidal flats, sand dunes, rock formations, and large and small islands along the rias coast boast beautiful scenery unique to the West Sea. Taean Coast National Park is the only coastal park in Korea where diverse coastal ecosystems coexist, and has great conservation value. #travel #beachlife #naturalwonders
