Showa Memorial Park: A fantastical view of cherry blossoms and tulips that you wouldn't expect to find in Tokyo

This vast park, covering over 160 hectares, offers a landscape of flowers that change with the seasons. It is especially breathtaking in April, when 1,500 cherry trees and 230,000 tulips are in full bloom. With colorful tulips of various kinds blooming everywhere, you can take beautiful pictures no matter where you are, but the most recommended spot is the Keiryu Square. The colors of the flowers are reflected in the flowing river, creating a scene that feels like another world. By the way, when I first went there, I couldn't find the location of the cherry blossoms and ended up wandering around the large park, so I recommend checking the location on a park map in advance. Best time to see them: early to mid-April. Fee: 450 yen.
