Suzhou Mingyue Ancient Temple: A Zen space with a view

This is an ancient temple with a thousand years of history, founded in the second year of Qingtai in the Later Tang Dynasty (935). The entire temple is characterized by purple sand and mud carvings, and the "Three World Buddhas" and 18 Arhat statues in the Great Hero Hall are vivid in divine appearance, and there are many photogenic spots. [How to Play] Architectural Appreciation: Visit the Mountain Gate Hall, Heavenly King Hall, Great Hero Hall, and Cangjing Building in order to enjoy the architectural beauty of traditional Buddhist temples. Cultural Experience: Participate in early morning matin (6:30-7:30) and taste the su zhai (Luohan zhai noodles 15 yuan/bowl, su shao ge 20 yuan/bowl) in the temple to experience the unique religious culture.
