Everyone who comes to Suzhou has heard that the best place to see magnolias is the Couple's Garden Retreat. I went to see the excitement these past few days because the weather has turned warm, and the magnolias are about to fall! This graceful pink magnolia, blooming amidst the white walls and black tiles of a Jiangnan garden, attracts countless tourists and influencers. The pink and white hues, gentle and elegant, resemble a shy lady from a distinguished family. It blooms quietly, draped in morning dew, spreading its splendor by the Taihu rocks, transforming the elegance of the classical garden into a flowing feast. The Couple's Garden Retreat, located east of Xiaoxinqiao Alley on Cang Street in Suzhou's old city, is surrounded by water on three sides. It's a tranquil retreat amidst the bustling city, a delicate small garden, and a World Cultural Heritage site in Suzhou. In Suzhou, it also carries the meaning of "a match made in heaven," no wonder so many couples come here for wedding photos.
