Huashan is a relatively lesser-known natural scenic spot in Suzhou. The mountain is not high, and there are not many people, making it suitable for almost everyone to climb and enjoy the view. Due to its secluded location and beautiful rocks, Huashan has historically been a place where many hermits chose to live, dating back to the Eastern Jin Dynasty. To this day, the scenic area still retains many inscriptions and writings left by famous scholars. At the top of the mountain, there are ancient temple ruins, and the February orchids that bloom in early spring are particularly beautiful. The deep blue color in the mountains shows the strong vitality of life. There is a small stream flowing beside the path down the mountain, and during the rainy seasons of spring and summer, small waterfalls can form at the drops. An interesting aspect is that as soon as you step into the entrance of Huashan Scenic Area, you are immediately on the mountain and have to start climbing the steps. There is no room for negotiation, and perhaps not having a choice is the best choice. At the entrance of Huashan Scenic Area, there is a hotel with a retreat and homestay style. Those who enjoy hiking and quiet retreats can consider staying there. Location: Jianlin Huashan Natural Scenic Area, Fengqiao Town, Suzhou New District. Ticket: 60 RMB. Transportation: You can take the subway or bus, transfer to bus 357 at Green Treasure Plaza in the New District, and it will take you to the destination. A taxi from Green Treasure Plaza costs about 15 RMB.
