Cafe Kent

#MayTravelSupportCafeKentaro is a brunch mecca in Surry Hills. I passed by it a few times and finally visited, and I immediately understood why people rave about it. There are many menus that reinterpret the feeling of Japanese home cooking in a sophisticated way, and the plating is also sensational, so it’s a feast for the eyes. I ordered the signature Kentaro omelet rice and flat white, and the soft omelet and rich miso mushroom sauce went well together, and I thought “This is a high-end version of home cooking” after one bite. The coffee is well-balanced, so it goes perfectly with the food! The interior is cozy and has a lot of natural light, so it’s comfortable to eat alone, and it’s a great atmosphere to chat with friends. I really recommend it to those who love brunch + Japanese cuisine.
