Bourke Street Bakery is a well known bakery that started out in Surry hills. I have had stuff from there many times in the past. Most recently, I purchased a loaf of sourdough, a beef pie, and some cookies, and thoroughly enjoyed both the experience and the quality of the products. I love the Beef Pie's crispy buttery puff pastry and sausage roll with a flavour of pork and fennel could be the most delicious rolls I've ever had! The pastry is flakey and beautifully crisp, and the meat is really excellent. The lemon tart tasted good in the end, it's just fresh. The ginger creme brulee tart is so wonderful that it's not a good idea to share cause it’s just so great to have another one.
