I went to the site of the Asian-African Conference, commonly known as the Bandung Conference, which is mentioned in history textbooks. I had been curious about it for a long time, and finally I was able to go! There is a museum and a conference hall, and in the museum you can learn about the history of World War II and the subsequent independence of Asian and African countries. It was a new perspective for me, as I had never thought about history from Indonesia's perspective. In the conference hall, flags of various countries are lined up, and in the foreground are the flags of countries that became independent. It gave me an opportunity to think again about the history and facts of the war.
