Wat Si Chum, Sukhothai 🪷 The Enchantment of Time

Wat Si Chum is an ancient temple that has stood for centuries, believed to have been constructed since the 19th Buddhist century. The temple grounds are a well-maintained green space, with the main mandapa peacefully situated amidst a lush green lawn. Inside, the temple houses the Phra Achana Buddha statue, which can be glimpsed slightly through a narrow doorway. Upon entering, visitors are greeted by the grandeur of the large Buddha statue that fills the entire space of the building, evoking a sense of awe and inner fulfillment. The temple is located within the Sukhothai Historical Park, a proud historical tourist destination for the Thai people.
