[Osaka/Suita] Bigger than you'd think!? Tower of the Sun

The Tower of the Sun is located in Expo Commemoration Park in Suita, Osaka Prefecture. It is a huge sculpture created by artist Taro Okamoto as a symbol of the 1970 Japan World Expo. It is about 70 meters tall and features three faces. These faces, which symbolize the "past," "present," and "future," express the strength of life and the process of evolution. Inside the tower is the Tree of Life! The Tower of the Sun is probably twice as big as you would imagine! (This is my subjective opinion lol) It's big even when viewed from outside Expo Commemoration Park! It's even bigger when you get up close!
