Silver City-Aberdeen

Aberdeen chapter of the British trip (January 2023): It takes 5 hours to drive from Edinburgh to Aberdeen on the same day, and the journey is moderate. Unlike other cities in Scotland, for 200 years from the mid-18th century, Aberdeen's buildings were uniformly made of gray granite. It was also called the "Silver City" because of the silvery luster of the mica in the granite. The most lively and well-known thing in the city is the annual "Aberdeen International Youth Festival"; and the University of Aberdeen, founded in 1495, is one of the five oldest classical universities in the UK, and its graduates are employed locally. The rate is good. What left a deep impression on this trip was the "Dunnottar Castle" located on a 160-foot-high rock on the Aberdeenshire Coast Path, surrounded on three sides by the North Sea; for more than 1,000 years, it played a role in the history of A crucial character, having hosted some of the greatest historical figures including William Wallace and Mary Queen of Scots… This romantic and haunting ruin is also known as a photographer’s paradise 📷😍
