These houses were built in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. The exterior is basically white, also known as white houses. Most of the houses in the old town are now privately owned and still have people living in them. In 1975, it was listed as a model of balancing protection and restoration of ancient buildings while retaining their original flavor.
