Ancient Shepherds Stone Hut

Once quite a common site, especially in the north of Malta in times gone by shepherds hut served an important function, as a place of shelter and protection. This one found on the Xemxija Heritage Trail is particularly well preserved with many original features such as a water trough, stone roof drain and a stone loop for tying horses.
