The caretaker inside the mosque who told me this said he will however make an exception and shook my hand. He then requested if I can offer some money as he distributes money among the poor and he asked for Rs 200. I offered him 50 and walked away. Thinking back, I should have given this money to the donation box. When I went back to the car, my muslim driver told me this is not true and non muslims are allowed inside. I have gone through the reviews and it seems it is true non muslims are not allowed inside. It is best to respect peoples sentiments, hence its best for non muslims to not go inside and if you wish to donate anything just put the money in the donation box.
