If you go to Melbourne, you must visit its beaches!

This was my first time in Melbourne, and I stayed for about 7 or 8 days. During the first few days, I took the kids to the beach twice while the weather was still cool: St Kilda and Williamstown. We enjoyed the soft sand, the sky and sea that were so blue it was almost unbelievable, and the bold white pigeons. Also, the fresh and affordable (relatively speaking) seaside stalls at Williamstown Pier: Gem Pier. We also visited a few places in the city: Fed Square, which has free outdoor performances at 8 pm. I heard there are a lot of anime shows here. Melbourne Central, which has some comfortable shoes and a Lululemon store. National Art Gallery of Victoria, which was hosting a Yayoi Kusama exhibition. It was quite fun, and there was also a Häagen-Dazs ice cream sponsored by a bank. We visited Coles and Woolworths several times. Woolworths has delicious beef jerky and some great cookies that Coles doesn't have. If you want to plan a tight schedule, you can visit the nearby attractions in the city in one or two days and then head straight to the surrounding beaches. We had kids with us and didn't want to travel too much, so we only went to the beach for two days. Next time, we'll probably plan more beach trips. Overall, Melbourne feels like a rough guy. Everywhere you go, it feels rough. The beaches are probably the most worthwhile attractions.
