Beomeosa Temple

Beomeosa Temple is one of the most famous Buddhist temples in South Korea, located on Geumjeongsan Mountain in Busan. The temple was founded in 678 AD by Uisang, a highly respected Buddhist monk during the Silla Dynasty. Beomeosa is known as one of the top three temples in the Yeongnam region (Southeastern Korea), along with Haeinsa and Tongdosa. Located at the foot of Geumjeongsan Mountain, the temple is surrounded by beautiful natural scenery, including dense forests and small waterfalls. The hiking trail from the temple to the top of the mountain is popular among visitors who want to enjoy the natural beauty and feel spiritual peace. The temple also frequently holds religious ceremonies and Buddhist festivals, which can be an interesting cultural experience for visitors. Beomeosa Temple is not only a place of worship, but also a destination that offers an immersive experience for those interested in Korean culture and spirituality.
