Stray Birds (Songyang Branch) is located in Chenjiapu Village, Sidu Township, Songyang County, Lishui City, Zhejiang Province. It sits on a cliff 800 meters above sea level, surrounded by terraced fields, canyons, and a sea of clouds. This area is recognized by Chinese National Geography as the "Last Secret Place in Jiangnan." On clear days, it is as picturesque as a painting, and on rainy days, the sea of clouds surges. Opening the window reveals a 180-degree panoramic view of the canyon, as if you can reach out and touch the flowing clouds. · 📍 Stray Birds Homestay, Songyang 📍 STRAY BIRDS SONGYANG · The homestay is converted from a 600-year-old rammed earth village. The designer used micro-renovation techniques to preserve the mottled rammed earth walls, rubble foundations, and wooden beam structures, while cleverly incorporating light steel frames, floor-to-ceiling glass, and concrete textures. The old house, enclosed by rammed earth on three sides, coexists with nature, revealing a rustic and wabi-sabi beauty. The four rammed earth rooms in the first phase carry the village's original atmosphere, while the 11 guest rooms in the second phase, in the form of LOFT suites and panoramic canyon view rooms, bring the mountain scenery into the room, becoming "breathing works of art." Each guest room has a super large space of 60–70㎡, with a minimalist aesthetic constructed from gray-toned wood and pure white bedding. Smart home systems, central floor heating, B&O audio, organic bathroom products, and other details interpret the luxury of mountain living. · ▪️ Dining In the early morning, the housekeeper will gently knock on the door with a bamboo food box, offering Songyang's special breakfast: red bean porridge, rice cakes, purple sweet potatoes, and seasonal fruits, served in blue and white porcelain bowls, slowly chewing and swallowing with the sea of clouds, even time becomes gentle.
