Long Bar at Raffles Hotel, the birthplace of the Singapore Sling cocktail

Opened in 1887, the oldest traditional Raffles Hotel in Singapore. Cocktail Singapore Sling was first created in 1915 by a bartender named Niam Tong Boon at the Long Bar in the Raffles Hotel. It is a sweet and sour cocktail with gin as a base, cherry brandy, and lemon juice. It is still a popular place, so there was a bit of a wait, but the atmosphere of Long Bar, where you can feel the traces of time, was so nice, and it was really meaningful to taste the original Singapore Sling. The special thing about this place is that you eat the peanuts provided for free and just throw the shells on the floor.
