🛳️ Gulangyu Cruise Maiden Voyage – 5D4N Family Getaway!

We took little Henry on his very first cruise, and it was beyond amazing! 5 days and 4 nights of pure fun, relaxation, and quality family time — from Shanghai to Jeju Island and Shimonoseki, Japan. Truly a moving resort on the sea 🌊 🌟 What We Loved Most ✔️ Pools, pools, pools! The ship has three pools, perfect for kids to splash around. Our favorite? The aft deck pool — sunset swimming with ocean views was just magical. ✔️ Kids Club: Highly recommend! Separate areas for different age groups, and Henry never wanted to leave. Gave me time to read in the sea library or chill on deck. ✔️ Daily shows & activities: So much to do! Our favorite was the Circus Night Show — vibrant, impressive, and full of energy! 🍽️ Food Highlights ✅ 6F Peninsula: Chinese-style set meals, great service, no queues! ✅ 6F Oriental: Fusion menu, lovely vibe ✅ 12F Lido Buffet: Best for kids! Burgers, fries, sweets—and the spicy chicken was a surprise hit 😋 There are also 4 specialty restaurants onboard if you want more variety (extra charge). 🛬 Port Visits 📍 Jeju Island: Dragon Head Rock → Duty Free → Hallasan (we had rain, sadly) 📍 Shimonoseki, Japan: Sumiyoshi Shrine ⛩️ → Kanmon Bridge → Mojiko → Duty Free — amazing weather and scenic views all day! 🏠 Our Cabin Stayed in a balcony room (3 people: me, mom, and baby). Spacious and comfy! The sofa converts into a full bed. Bathroom essentials provided, but remember to bring your own toothbrush/toothpaste. 📶 WiFi Tips There’s paid onboard Wi-Fi, but the signal was so-so. We used roaming in Japan and Korea — much better! 💌 Final Thoughts Our first cruise was unforgettable.
