Singapore Travel Review: 4 Days 3 Nights

This time, we're taking you to check out the small yet big-hearted country of Singapore—a clean, safe, convenient, chic, and cool destination filled with delicious food 😍. Our trip lasted 4 days and 3 nights, a relaxed journey filled with walking, eating, and photo-taking (but the money ran out quickly, haha). Greeting the Merlion We flew with a budget airline from Thailand to Changi Airport, one of the most beautiful and high-tech airports in the world! Upon landing, we had to stop by Jewel Changi—a shopping mall + indoor garden + 40-meter indoor waterfall! The photos look like scenes from a fantasy novel 🍃✨. From the airport, we took the MRT to our hotel near Bugis, a great location with easy access to food. We kicked off the trip by visiting the iconic Merlion at Merlion Park! It's a landmark you must see; otherwise, it feels like you haven't truly been to Singapore. The evening atmosphere by the bay was lovely, with cool breezes and stunning views of Marina Bay Sands across the water. The sunset view was absolutely breathtaking 🌅. We ended the first day with a stroll at Clarke Quay, a vibrant riverside area filled with restaurants, bars, and beautiful lights, creating a slightly romantic vibe ❤️. ⸻ 🌈 Day 2 – Immersing in Fantasy at Sentosa! We woke up excited because today was Sentosa day—a fun-filled island! We started by taking the MRT to HarbourFront Station and then hopped on the monorail to the island. 📸 Our first stop was the Universal Studios globe at USS. Although we didn't go inside to enjoy the rides, taking photos at the entrance was already a vibe! Plus, there are food and souvenir zones to explore. Next, we strolled at Palawan Beach, a charming little beach with a small suspension bridge leading to the Southernmost Point of Continental Asia. It's a small but unique spot with its own charm 🏝️. In the afternoon, we visited SEA Aquarium in Resorts World Sentosa, feeling like we stepped into an underwater world. The giant tanks and countless fish were mesmerizing, making us lose track of time. The fish swam as if dancing for us—so adorable 🐠. After returning from Sentosa, we watched the Spectra – A Light & Water Show in front of Marina Bay Sands. It's free and absolutely stunning, featuring fountains, laser lights, and music in a spectacular display 🌊🎆. ⸻ 🍜 Day 3 – Eating, Strolling, and Snapping Today was a chill day focused on food and photography! We started with a local breakfast at Ya Kun Kaya Toast, enjoying Kaya Toast, soft-boiled eggs, and hot tea—feeling like a Singaporean for a day ☕🍞. Next, we headed to Haji Lane, a must-visit hipster and artsy area filled with colorful graffiti walls, cute cafes, and quirky shops. Walking and snapping photos here was pure joy 🎨📷. We then moved to Chinatown for more food (haha). The chicken rice here is amazing, especially at the famous Tian Tian Chicken Rice in Maxwell Food Centre. The long queue was worth it—the taste lived up to the hype 🐔🍚. To walk off the meal, we visited Gardens by the Bay, with the highlight being the Supertree Grove at night. The sparkling lights paired with music were magical, like a fantasy event without CGI 🌳✨. It's a must-see! ⸻ 🍧 Day 4 – Before Heading Home: Eating, Shopping, and Relaxing On the last day, we packed up, checked out, and spent some relaxing time at Orchard Road, Singapore's main shopping street. We browsed, tasted snacks, and bought souvenirs. Don Don Donki and Muji are recommended for their cute prices and great finds! Before heading to the airport, we had a meal at Lau Pa Sat, a food court in a Victorian-style building. The evening Satay Street here is delightful, with tables selling satay skewers that are so tasty you'll want seconds 😋. Finally, it was time to head home. Changi Airport is so enjoyable that you'll want to arrive early to make the most of your time there.
