We began with the Handmade Spicy Wanton 红油抄手 — silky wrappers filled with juicy minced pork and chives, drenched in an aromatic brown butter chilli oil that hits all the right notes: spicy, savoury, and addictive. Next, the Silken Tofu with Century Egg 皮蛋豆腐 — a cold dish that’s incredibly delicate yet flavourful, the tofu melting in your mouth while the century egg adds a rich, umami depth. Then came the Truffle Claypot Rice 松露煲仔饭 — the ultimate comfort dish elevated. A medley of mushrooms with that earthy truffle aroma, nestled over perfectly crisped rice at the bottom of the pot. Smoky, fragrant, and utterly satisfying. The Stir-Fried Diced Wagyu with Red & Green Peppercorn 双椒爆和牛粒 brought the wok hei and punch — tender beef with just the right amount of heat and zing from both types of peppercorns. And finally, we ended on a sweet note with Glutinous Rice Cake with Brown Sugar 红糖糍粑 — chewy, crispy on the outside, and coated in a deeply caramelised brown sugar glaze.
