#cherryblossom2024 Nihondaira Zoo was a delightful highlight of my spring vacation in Japan! 🦁 Nestled in the scenic Nihondaira area of Shizuoka City, this zoo offered a fantastic opportunity to get up close and personal with a variety of animals. The entrance fee was quite reasonable, around 800 yen per person, making it accessible for families and solo travelers alike. As I wandered through the zoo, I was impressed by the diverse range of species, from adorable red pandas to majestic tigers and playful monkeys. #nihondairazoo and #animalencounters Nearby, attractions like the Nihondaira Ropeway provided breathtaking views of Mt. Fuji and the surrounding landscape, while the Shizuoka Sengen Shrine offered a glimpse into Japan's rich cultural heritage. Plus, don't miss the chance to explore the vibrant streets of downtown Shizuoka City, where you can sample delicious local cuisine and shop for souvenirs.
