Shihu Wharf

❤ Recommended reason: Shihu Wharf, located in Shihu Village, Hanjiang Town, Shishi City, Quanzhou City, was an important wharf on the "Maritime Silk Road" in Quanzhou Bay during the Song and Yuan dynasties. Several stone steps carved on the natural shore bear witness to Quanzhou's thousand-year history of overseas transportation and trade development. 👍 Most recommended: The main body of Shihu Wharf consists of a group of nearshore reefs and Tongji trestle bridge. It is said that it was first built in the early 8th century during the Kaiyuan period of the Tang Dynasty. The merchant Lin Luan created Lin Luan Ferry here, using natural reefs as docking facilities. The lowest layer of the trestle bridge still retains the stone bridge foundation of the Song Dynasty, and porcelain fragments from the Song and Yuan dynasties have been unearthed around it.
