Snow Festival @ Daisetsuzan National Park

🏞 Location: Daisetsuzan National Park (大雪山国立公園 / Daisetsuzan National Park) 🛑 Address: Sounkyo Gorge, Kamikawa-cho, Kamikawa-gun, Hokkaido 🚄 Transportation: From 'Kamikawa' Station on the JR Shimokitamon Line, take the northbound 'Sounkyo-Kamikawa Line' bus for 30 minutes to the final stop 'Sounkyo Gorge' This place is one of the first to receive snowfall. During autumn, the view of the changing leaves is incredibly beautiful. In summer, there are many activities to enjoy, such as walking along various nature trails. The stunning nature here has earned the park the nicknames 'The Roof of Hokkaido' and 'God's Playground.' ♨️🌬 In February, we went to see the ice sculptures. The atmosphere was great and beautiful, but it was extremely cold. The wind was so strong that it was hard to move. If you plan to visit, make sure to dress warmly.
