[Tokyo] Tour of the "Ebara Seven Lucky Gods" ⛩️

Following on from my tour of the "Tokai Seven Lucky Gods" along the old Tokaido road early in the new year, this time I'm going on my second tour of the Seven Lucky Gods to visit the "Ebara Seven Lucky Gods" that cross Shinagawa Ward from east to west ⛩️ The name Ebara has appeared in the ancient "Manyoshu" since ancient times, and as it is an ancient and prestigious place, I'm going on a walk through history in Tokyo with the Seven Lucky Gods 🚶 First, I'll start from Oimachi Station. The first place I visited was "Oi Zao Gongen Shrine", which enshrines "Fukurokuju", a god who brings wealth, popularity, and success. A shrine where the Tengu legend is still told to this day 👺 ☟ The next place I visited was "Fudoin Temple/Tokoji Temple", which enshrines "Bishamonten", a god who brings good luck, protection from evil, and treasure. " There is a hall called Toji here, and in the center of the hall, Torisasama Daimyo, also known as the god of toilets, is enshrined. ☟ The third place we visited was Yogyokuin Nyorai-ji Temple, which enshrines Hotei, a god of generosity who brings good fortune and treasure. The vermilion-painted Zuiouden Hall houses a wooden seated Gochi Nyorai statue, also known as the Great Buddha of Oi. ☟ The fourth place we visited was Kamishinmei Tenso Shrine, which enshrines Benzaiten, the god who bestows love and wisdom and brings wealth and good fortune. In addition to Benzaiten, the shrine also enshrines the White Snake and the Dragon God, and is said to have the divine virtue of Mi ga Tatsu (standing up in life) = success in life. ☟ The fifth place we visited was Horen-ji Temple, which enshrines Ebisu-sama, the god who brings prosperity and good fortune. ☟ The sixth place we visited was Maya-ji Temple, which enshrines Jurojin, the god who brings longevity and good fortune. ☟ And the last place we visited on our tour of the Seven Lucky Gods was Koyama Hachiman Shrine, which enshrines Daikokuten, the god who brings good fortune and treasures and fulfills wishes. As the name Koyama suggests, it is located on the highest hill in the ward and has been selected as one of the 100 most scenic spots in Shinagawa. 📸 We toured the Seven Lucky Gods for about 6.5 kilometers. 👌 We were blessed with good weather and received goshuin stamps at each place, so it was a great journey. 👌 Shrines and temples in Tokyo appear unexpectedly in the city and residential areas, so it's a strange feeling every time. 😌 ※Before you know it, you're almost at the end of your goshuin book. All the pages are filled up 🥹 #Tokyo #Tokyo trip #Temple tour #Ebara Seven Lucky Gods #Oi Zao Gongen Shrine #Tokoji Temple #Nyorai Temple #Kamishinmei Tenso Shrine #Horenji Temple #Maya Temple #Oyama Hachiman Shrine #Seven Lucky Gods Tour #Temple Stamps #Collecting Temple Stamps #Camera Trip #Single-lens Reflex Camera #Canoneoskissx9i #I Love Travel #I Love History #I Love Nature #Travel Records #Cut-out World #Traveling Japan #Japantravel #Where Should I Go Next?
