CAFE DEUX

Shinagawa City, Tokyo, February 2025 Tucked away in a small side street near Meguro Station, Café Deux offers a cozy retreat from the bustling city and streams of commuters. The ambiance is warm and intimate, with subdued lighting, large windows, and jazz filling the tobacco tinged atmosphere, a perfect spot to unwind. A great selection of specialist coffees are on offer. The Blue Mountain wasn’t available, so we opted for a Colombian, served in delicate china cups. The menu also features soups, croque monsieur, and cheesecake, alongside freshly roasted coffees to take home. Today’s selection included Kilimanjaro, Guatemala, Mandheling, and Mexican among others.
