Mutsure Island in Shimonoseki

Currently, carnations and gerberas are in bloom. You can circle the island in about an hour. A tranquil, nature-rich island that feels like a time slip back to the early Showa era. The return ferry departs two and a half hours later, giving you plenty of time to enjoy. It’s just a 15-minute trip from Kokura to Shimonoseki. Highly recommended!
