The wonders of Yunnan- Stone Forest, Kunming

The Stone Forest is a bucketlist item when visiting Kunming. It is located around 80km from the city and can be reached via a 1.5 hour coach bus ride, or a 40 minute bullet train ride, followed by a local bus or taxi to the park. The park is very big and there is so much to see. There are golf carts driving around inside the park, that can take you to the main scenic areas. It comes at a small extra fee. Inside the park, you will be amazed by the beautiful karst rock towers, valleys, caves and lakes. The karst rock towers literaly form a stone forrest. It is spectacular. There are plenty of small mountain spots where you can view the stone forrests from above.
