Lianhuashan Park 🌺 🍃

We arrived at Lianhuashan Park just as the late morning sun began to warm the stone paths. The lotus ponds were wide and still, scattered with soft-pink blooms that opened lazily toward the sky. Locals moved quietly some doing tai chi beneath willow trees, others walking small dogs or sharing fruit under shaded pavilions. There was a rhythm to it all, slow and unhurried, like the park itself had no intention of rushing summer away. 🪷🌳☀️ We followed the winding trail up the hill, past wind chimes strung in the trees and tiny tea stalls selling iced drinks in paper cups. At the top, we stood beside the statue, looking out over the city tall buildings softened by haze, the horizon drawn in pastels. It wasn’t dramatic, but it was steady.
