Industrial Heritage Cultural Tourism Landmark: Hongmei Cultural and Creative Park

Hongmei Cultural and Creative Park is located to the south of the China Industrial Museum, transformed from the original factory buildings of the Hongmei MSG Factory, and the gate still hangs the factory sign of the MSG factory. Upon entering the park, a strong industrial style hits you in the face, while it also integrates modern design styles, giving the old place a new soul. Under the retro red brick high walls, there are many popular photo spots. Like the cultural and creative parks that have sprung up all over the country, Hongmei also integrates various common business forms—art exhibitions, cultural markets, high-end dining, etc. As you wander around, you can see the Zen-like simplicity of the quaint tea house, the art flower shop that resembles a botanical greenhouse, the post-modern style fashion buyer's shop, and the fusion restaurant with a strong literary atmosphere... The ambiance is relaxed and pleasant. The majority of Hongmei's old factory buildings have been preserved, among which the Hongmei Fermentation Art Center was transformed from a fermentation workshop and is now specifically used for various art exhibitions. The iron stele in front of the center is engraved with this passage: 'Once, raw materials were fermented here to satisfy the public's taste buds. Now, culture and art are fermenting here, adding flavor to life.' The Flavor Museum is transformed from the MSG factory's union activity room, and the three exhibition areas on the second floor are 'Taste Lab', 'Road of Taste', and 'Taste Art Gallery'. Here, various craft installations turn 'flavor' into a multi-sensory experience that can be seen, heard, and smelled, and 'seasoning' becomes an imaginative metaphor.
