🖼️ Shennongding Scenic Area is located in the eastern extension of Dabashan Mountain. It is a primitive ecological area with diverse species and the essence of Shennongjia. The highest point of the scenic area is Shennongding, the highest peak in central China, with an altitude of 3,106 meters. It has many small scenic spots, such as Jinhouling, Shennongyuan, Shennongying, Huazhongwuji, Shennonggu, Dajiaoling, and lookout towers, as well as four tourist service areas, such as Xiaolongtan, Shennongying, Banbiyang, and Dajiaoling. 🛣️ Shennongying is the first large scenic spot you will pass by when driving from Muyu Town to Shennongding. It is located on the west slope of Shennongding. It is said to be the place where Shennongshi tasted herbs and collected medicine for the people. 📸 How to play: 1️⃣ Here, the asphalt road is flanked by valleys with gentle slopes, like a cultural landscape area simulating the habitat of savages. The thatched cottages, simple wooden furniture, and hunting scenes of savages take you back to ancient times. The green grass, straw figures, and small leisure scenes on both sides make you stop and stay. 2️⃣ Near Shennongying, there is the first starry sky tent camp in Huazhongwuji, where tourists can stay overnight and enjoy the sunrise and sunset. It is especially suitable for photographers who like to shoot the starry sky. If you don't camp, it is recommended to visit Shennongying for 1-2 hours. 🎫 Ticket: Included in the ticket of Shennongding Scenic Area, CNY 130 for a single ticket, CNY 299 for a six-scenic area joint ticket. Book tickets online in advance, and enter the park with your ID card. You can get a refund if you don't go. 📍 Address: Shennongding Scenic Area, Muyu Town, Shennongjia Forest District. 🙋 Tips: The whole Shennongjia Forest District is very large, with scattered scenic spots and a large area, especially suitable for summer tourism and summer resort. It is recommended to drive or charter a car. Vehicles with more than 9 seats (inclusive) need to transfer (CNY 60/person) in Shennongding Scenic Area. If you go there in non-summer, you must bring a thick coat. The altitude of Shennongding Scenic Area is high, and the temperature is often below zero, accompanied by strong winds and very cold.
