Xiashuiyuan is located on the hillside of Daming Mountain in Nanning. It is surrounded by lush forests. Villagers’ houses are built along the mountain in an orderly manner. It is famous for its resemblance to the Potala Palace from a distance. Far away from the hustle and bustle, with fresh air and surrounded by green forests, it has valley streams and waterfalls, making it an ideal place for summer vacation and leisure. ☀ When you arrive at Xiashuiyuan, the first thing that catches your eye is the villagers' houses located in the mountains and forests that resemble the "Potala Palace". They are next to each other and you can stay there and taste farm dishes. From the foot of the mountain to the holiday resort on the mountainside, there are valleys and green forests along the way, which is fresh and pleasant. It’s not far to drive from the bottom of the mountain to the top, and it only takes about 10 minutes to get there. Xiashuiyuan Village is called the Little Potala Palace because when you look up from the bottom of the mountain, you can see such a village hidden in the mountains, which looks a bit like a paradise. After going up the mountain, the shuttle bus does not directly reach Xiashuiyuan Village, but only arrives at a small river, where you can go down to play in the water and swim. Xiashuiyuan Village was originally just a small village deep in the mountains, famous for its specialty star anise. Many villagers made a fortune by growing star anise, and they still grow it now. However, due to the tourism boom in recent years, the villagers have converted their houses into inns. ✌️It is recommended to drink bubble water when coming here.
