Shanghai’s Husky Experience Center

Apartments in Shanghai tend to run a bit on the small side, which for some can be a bit of a deterrence when it comes to getting a pet. If you’re a dog lover who misses spending time with a loyal companion, head over to Husky Go! You’ll be able to spend some time up close and personal with 10+ huskies.  Located in Xuhui, this shop has their disinfection practices down pat. Before entering, you’ll be required to sanitize your hands and put covers over your shoes. You’ll also be shown a minute-long video, from which you’ll learn how to interact with the dogs and what to take special note of. Upon seeing the huskies up close, we were surprised by their size and friendliness. They seem to be used to hanging out with visitors to the shop and being in their presence is actually pretty calming. You can learn the dogs’ names by checking their bandannas. Dogs with black bandannas are male, while dogs with red bandanas are female. It’s said that the most popular dog is Xiao Pingguo (Little Apple) because of how willing she is to pose for pictures. Tip: Group photos are taken from 1–3 PM. If you come during this time, you’ll have the chance to strike a pose together with all of the huskies. Husky Go! Husky Experience Center 1006–1007, Metropolitan Business Center, 300 East Nandan Road, Xuhui District Entry: 96 RMB Package including a group photo, snack, and drink: 136 RMB #shanghai #shanghaistyle #shanghaichic #cute  #urbanexplorer

Shanghai Angola Giant Rabbit Theme Park

If you’re looking to try something that you've probably never done before, head to East Nanjing Road and spend some time up close and personal with animals. At Nice to Meet U, you’ll encounter a cutely designed café filled with giant Angora rabbits 🐇. A bit of a departure from the cat café trend that swept through Asia years ago, giant Angora rabbits are a type of friendly pet rabbits that weigh around 10 pounds each. The furry friends can be held (as you would with a baby) and played with gently 🐰. They’re so fluffy that they sometimes end up looking like stuffed toys in photos. These bunnies are used to interacting with visitors and aren't as skittish as you might think they'd be. Plus, what would this experience be without some cute props to take pictures with 📸? You’ll find mini pastel shopping carts where the bunnies can sit, plus outfits for the bunnies and bunny ear headbands for you and your friends. The atmosphere here is calming and just simply enjoyable 😊. CNY88 will get you a drink ☕ and dessert 🍰 + 60 minutes ⏲️ of bunny 🐰 interaction time 😁. Nice to meet U, Giant Angora Rabbit Experience Center 📍 Location: 7th Floor of Yuehui Plaza, East Nanjing Road #shanghaistyle #cute #animals #shanghaichic  #lightthecity#urbanexplorer
