Spending an afternoon with cats is a surprisingly good way to de-stress. We headed down to a cat café on Middle Huaihai Road. The shop itself is fairly new and the interior is clean and tidy. While the shop is decorated with lots of pink color, both girls and guys are sure to enjoy their time at this two story venue. Hanging around in the shop are 30 cats of different breeds, including Siamese, American shorthairs, ragdolls, and more. Needless to say, they’re all extremely cute. An interesting fact to note, we heard from the shopkeeper that the most expensive cat in the shop cost around 38,000 RMB! 😱😱😱 All of the cats are quite friendly and willing to be touched and pet, and there are loads of opportunities to take photos if that’s your thing. For 86 RMB per person, you’ll get a drink plus one can of food for cat feeding. When you enter the shop, you’ll have the choice between single use slippers or shoe covers. Lint rollers are on hand to make sure you leave the shop fur-free.
