A Jaunt in Shanghai’s Replica British Town

#shinsider Did you ever go to the UK pre-COVID but are currently stuck in Shanghai? Then you might want to head over to Thames Town to experience that unique British charm once again. Located in Songjiang district, it took us at least an hour or more to travel to Thames Town via Metro and DiDi, but it definitely made for a nice little afternoon out when wanting a change of scenery. What you can see: ⁃ Catholic Church: one of the area’s main landmarks that stands proud in the central square. ⁃ Huating Lake: where you can take a little cruise or do some water sports if that takes your fancy Thames Town is open all day long, and it is completely free to enter the area!
