Each time the lights reflected and shimmered on the Huangpu River's waves, it felt as if I had stepped into a painting. Walking along the breezy riverside, the blend of street music and people's laughter created a unique nighttime atmosphere that could only be found in Shanghai. Holding a cup of coffee and strolling leisurely while gazing at the skyline was reason enough for the journey itself. The night view of the Bund, in particular, is far more moving when seen with your own eyes than captured in photographs.
