Shanghai | Brilliant Chinese restaurant for friends reunion

Yunlu is located right next to Jing’an Temple, surrounded by shopping malls — a great choice for dinner with friends after work or a casual family gathering. I’ve chosen this place before for Chinese New Year’s Eve dinner — the environment is pleasant, the service is great, and the food is delicious. The appetizer salad was light and refreshing, with a mix of vegetables and fruits. The spicy beef tongue was packed with flavor — the spiciness really enhanced the aroma. The boiled prawns were huge and super fresh, with a light taste that brought out the natural texture of the ingredients. The pan-fried ribbonfish was done exceptionally well — crispy on the outside and tender inside. It’s a classic dish that’s definitely worth trying. The braised pork with grilled squid featured pork that was rich but not greasy, and the squid soaked up all the savory flavors — incredibly tasty. Do note that reservations are needed during major holidays. 📍 Yunlu, 2nd–3rd floor, 1399 West Nanjing Road #chinatravel #shanghai

Modern Marvels & Timeless Views in Shanghai 🚶♂️🏙️ Get ready for an urban adventure through Shanghai’s must-see icons, blending sleek skyscrapers, buzzing cultural spots, and riverside romance—all in one unforgettable stroll! Start with Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, the liveliest shopping boulevard in China (Henan Middle Road, Huangpu District, open all day). Dive into laidback morning walks or prime evening people-watching. Pro tip: Early arrival means fewer crowds and soft sunlight for your shots. Don’t miss snaps featuring modern storefronts framed by heritage buildings—super insta-worthy on a sunny day! Next, head to The Bund (Zhongshan East Road, right by the Huangpu River—open all day), Shanghai’s dreamy riverside promenade lined with colonial architecture and shimmering city skylines. For that epic photo, pose with the futuristic Pudong skyline behind you, especially as day turns to neon-lit night. Take a moment to soak up both the city buzz and gentle river breeze—my personal highlight! Finish by hopping onto the Jinling East Road Ferry (No.141 Bund, open 7:00 AM–9:00 PM) for a unique, budget-friendly way to cross the river. The Ferry offers front-row city views, especially on cloudy or rainy days—the contrast with gleaming glass towers is unreal. Pack a light raincoat just in case, as weather shifts quickly. Quick Tips: Wear comfy shoes, as you’ll be on your feet all day. Plan to visit in the early morning or late evening for magical light and fewer crowds. Always keep an eye out for changing weather! #Shanghai #UrbanAdventure #ModernArchitecture #TheBund #CityViews
