Since its opening, the hotel has become a member of LHW (Leading Hotels of the World) thanks to its unique design and luxurious facilities, which to some extent highlights the hotel's distinctiveness. 2. The hotel integrates the purest natural therapies with a customized "Five Balances" care approach, including Sleep, Calm, Breath, Revive, and Move. Sleep helps enhance relaxation and promotes healthy sleep; Calm aids in detoxifying and strengthening the body overall; Breath manages stress to maintain physical and emotional balance; Revive offers anti-aging solutions and full-body rejuvenation and skin renewal therapies; Move provides unique treatments to boost overall energy and a healthy lifestyle. The hotel excels professionally in all these aspects. 3. On the first day of my stay, at 5 PM, I eagerly experienced the hotel's singing bowl workshop. The singing bowls are heavenly and soulful. Nothing calms the mind and brings peaceful primal silence like them. I highly recommend this workshop to hotel guests; it’s a very special feature of the hotel’s workshop offerings. During the 45-minute session, I followed the instructor’s guidance on breathing and meditation, quickly entering a relaxed state, almost falling asleep—a truly magical experience. Guests with executive privileges can even try the singing bowls first when checking in at the executive lounge. The lounge also has many singing bowls of various sizes for executive floor guests to experience on their own. 4. Another featured experience is sleep yoga, with sunrise yoga in the morning and sleep yoga at night. Professional yoga masters from India lead participants into the world of yoga. Besides the outdoor garden lawn, the hotel’s indoor atrium also has a dedicated yoga area. 5. Shanghai Anandi Hotel is the first to establish a city luxury hotel standard focused on wellness, redefining the traditional concept of urban hotels. This is a first in Shanghai and even nationwide in China. To match the "health and wellness" concept, the interior design uses soft warm tones with touches of bright colors and natural materials (such as wood and healing minerals), creating a harmonious and tranquil atmosphere. 6. Stepping into the lobby, you feel an immediate sense of openness and calm. The lobby design is inspired by a "forest secret realm," with changing views as you move through it. On the left is the "Shanghai Lane" style lobby bar, innovatively designed based on Shanghai’s traditional Shikumen architecture, reflecting the local residential culture and warmth. Here, you can enjoy a leisurely afternoon tea. The lobby bar has a two-story design connected by stairs, perfect for spending a relaxing afternoon while admiring the beautiful Peacock Garden outside, which features several ancient olive trees imported from Spain. 7. Many details in the hotel, in my opinion, are done perfectly. For example, the room key card sensor is designed as a round jade piece; herbal packs are specially provided by the bathtub, divided into detox and sleep aid formulas; the Do Not Disturb and housekeeping signs are unique soft pouches embroidered with pomegranate leaves; guest slippers come with elastic bags; there are two sets of pajamas, one specially for workshop experiences; the workshop schedule is rolled up and placed in a bamboo tube, decorative and thoughtful; and the thoughtful turndown service includes a healthy salad. 8. The room design is also excellent—very minimalist yet high-quality. The materials used aim to create a natural experience, including wood, cotton-linen, ceramics, and tiles. The floor uses a patented product from Taiwan called "Energy Floor," which helps promote blood circulation when walking barefoot. Other high-standard amenities include a capsule coffee machine, BOSE sound system for the TV, ceramic tea sets, Dilmah tea bags, and canned teas like Tieguanyin, goji berry, and Longjing.
