On March 2nd, the plum blossoms at Xinzhuang Plum Garden are almost 100% in full bloom. The main attraction, the Longyou plum, ended its bloom two weeks ago. Now is the peak blooming period for red plums and weeping plums. After another week, you might have to wait another year! The garden is filled with a subtle fragrance. Be sure not to miss the Cultivation Garden (marked as location 1 on map 20). This Cultivation Garden is open for a limited time and will only be open until March 8th this year. It features a wide variety of plum species, pruned by florists to a height where you can admire them just by looking up, and shaped into different forms, making it highly ornamental. 【Plum Viewing Routes】 Route 1: Enter from the Xinzhuang Plum Garden entrance, walk around the garden once, and exit from the same gate. This way, you can visit the Cultivation Garden and see different varieties of plum blossoms. (Refer to map 20) Route 2: Enter from the Xinzhuang Plum Garden entrance, walk north after entering—make sure to go north! This way, you will pass through the "Cultivation Garden," then continue forward to visit the "Tingcui Garden," and finally exit from the gate next to the Cai Bing Art Museum. (Refer to map 20) 🚉 Transportation Tips: [1] Take Metro Line 1 to Waihuan Road Station, then walk about 15 minutes to reach the garden. [2] Bus routes include 143, 173, 708, 957, Xumin Line, Minhang 12, Minhang 30, and others. [3] For driving, navigate to the Xinzhuang Plum Garden ground parking lot. The fee is 10 yuan per visit, but the parking lot is small, so arrive early if you want to park here. 🕙 Opening Hours: Xinzhuang Plum Garden is open daily from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and admission is free. 📝 Notes: The peak plum viewing Cultivation Garden is open until March 8th and features rare plum varieties.
