City Walk in Shanghai: Pray for Blessings at Longhua Temple and Meet Cute Cats

The weather was nice today, so I went to Longhua Temple to pray for blessings for the new year! There were many people walking around Longhua Pagoda and a long line of people waiting for red blessing ropes! The rising smoke... all of these things show people's longing for a better life! Today, the doors of Longhua Temple were wide open, welcoming people to come and pray. "Jade Snake Brings Blessings," "Virtue is a Blessing"! Calligraphers from the Calligraphy Association were also there to write Spring Festival couplets for free!㊗️ Several cute Longhua Temple cats were enjoying the warm winter sun. They looked so relaxed! I also met an Abyssinian cat. It looked so majestic and got along well with the Longhua Temple cats! 😊
