《My Experience at Shanghai Marriott Hotel Kangqiao》 The front desk service was quite standard, and the birthday decoration in the room was barely acceptable. I personally felt that this hotel was quite deserted, with very few people and not many children, unlike the lively atmosphere at the Courtyard by Marriott Shanghai International Tourism and Resorts Zone. The hotel is equipped with a children's play area, and we went there to play for two nights, but there weren't many children playing there. When we went to Disneyland, we found that there were quite a few people there, and I guess many people chose to stay at the Courtyard by Marriott. I have to say that the service at this Marriott hotel has a lot of room for improvement, and it feels even worse than the Courtyard by Marriott. The housekeeping team didn't do a good job with the turndown service, they just tidied up the bedroom a bit and didn't care much about other aspects. However, this hotel also has its advantages. Its Chinese restaurant is really delicious, and we ordered a lot of dishes without any dissatisfaction. The prices are also quite reasonable, and there are quite a few people dining there. But the breakfast was not very good, with a lot of pre-made dishes. I booked the Disney shuttle service, and when it was time to be dropped off, the high card gave me a free upgrade to a different car model, which was nice. However, the hotel concierge didn't have dedicated concierge vehicles, and all the vehicles were outsourced. As a Marriott hotel, they didn't even provide a shaving kit, and I had to ask the front desk for one. The Marriott app was also not very responsive, and it felt like they were very busy, but in reality, there weren't many people in the hotel. I ordered cold medicine for the baby, and a robot delivered it, which was convenient. But later, when I ordered juice for the baby, the concierge said that if I ordered food again, they wouldn't deliver it, and I had to go down and pick it up myself, which was really frustrating. Overall, my experience at Shanghai Marriott Hotel Kangqiao had its ups and downs, and I hope the hotel can make some improvements in terms of service.
