By changing it to the present participle tense, Fara brings the phrase back to the moment before any judgment is made about gender. 💙Fara emphasizes the importance of contrast in the painting of the same name as the exhibition. In terms of color and form, brightness is neutralized by darkness, and sharp angles contrast with soft blurs. In her new paintings, patterns that are common and recurring in the artist's works, such as high heels and makeup tools, are intertwined with various thematic images. The fascination with smartphone content, the involuntary crying posture facing broken glass, creates a scene questioning this concept of "girlhood".
