Farm In The City KL – A Fun and Hands-On Experience for the Whole Family

We brought the kids to Farm In The City during our recent trip to Kuala Lumpur, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of the trip — especially for the little ones! To be honest, we didn’t have much expectation going in, but we were pleasantly surprised. The farm is located about 30 minutes from the city centre by Grab, so it’s not too far out and makes for a great half-day outing. Once inside, we found a wide variety of animals, from ponies to alpacas, birds, tortoises, rabbits, and even reptiles. What made it special was the interactive experience — the kids got to feed, touch, and even ride some of the animals. They loved the pony ride and feeding sessions, which were both safe and well-supervised. The entire place is well laid out and pretty clean considering it’s a petting zoo. There’s also a small café inside for light bites and drinks, which came in handy after all the excitement. We spent around 3 to 4 hours there, which was just right without the kids getting too tired. In terms of pricing, we thought it was very reasonable, especially given the variety of animals and activities available. ⸻ Final thoughts: If you’re visiting KL with young children, Farm In The City is a great family-friendly attraction to consider.
