Rock Scrambles & Epic Views

#summervacay Dobongsan is one of those hikes that makes you go, “Wait, this is still Seoul?” It’s wild how fast you go from city chaos to full-on mountain adventure. We picked a popular trail up to one of the main peaks, and yeah, this one’s no joke. It’s steep, it’s rocky, and there are parts where you’re basically climbing with your hands. Super fun if you're into that kinda thing. The best part? The granite rock formations. They’re massive and dramatic and make you feel like you're in some fantasy movie. There are temples tucked into the cliffs, way too many photo ops, and the views at the top are insane, like, jaw-dropping levels of “whoa.” It can get crowded, especially on weekends, but the vibe is still great. Everyone’s just out there trying to conquer the mountain and have a good time. Bring snacks, good shoes, and maybe gloves for the rock parts. Dobongsan brings the drama, in a good way.
