I visited Okatsu Bangbae branch located near Naebang Station in Seocho-gu, Seoul. It is located in a quiet alley, so the atmosphere is calm, and the store has a neat and sophisticated interior that gives it a neat feel. The menu I ordered was Hirekatsu, Chickenkatsu, and One-bite Curry Sauce. The Hirekatsu meat was really soft and light without any gamey smell, and it went perfectly with the crispy batter, and the Chickenkatsu was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, which was better than expected. The One-bite Curry Sauce served with it had a rich and deep flavor, and it was perfect for dipping the katsu in. It was not greasy and had just the right amount of seasoning, so I was able to eat it cleanly until the end.
