How about taking a walk around it with a different charm from Deoksugung and Gyeongbokgung Palace? It's nice because it has a cozy and lovely feel. Reservations can be made 5 days in advance on the official Changdeokgung Palace website, and on-site reservations are also available from 9 AM on the day.
