Gapa Island's Green Barley Field - A Must-Visit Every Spring

Even after moving to Jeju, I make it a point to visit Gapa Island every year. It's simply irresistible! During the Green Barley Festival season, the island showcases a breathtaking view of lush green barley fields, reminiscent of old Jeju. The serene atmosphere and stunning scenery make all my worries disappear. It's a place where your eyes can truly relax. Gapa Island is relatively small, so even first-time visitors can explore it thoroughly within half a day. If you're already in Jeju, I highly recommend adding Gapa Island to your itinerary. Whether you choose to cycle around or take a leisurely walk through the green barley fields, both options are equally delightful. The Green Barley Festival is held in April.
