It was a trip to Kapalai Island 🇲🇾 We arrived at Kapalai after a scenic boat 🚤 ride from Semporna, and the first thing that struck us was the crystal-clear waters stretching as far as the eye could see 👀 The wooden chalets 🪵 built on stilts over the sea gave us an incredible panoramic view, making it the perfect spot to capture our first set of photos 📸 The best time for photos here is early morning when the water is at its calmest and reflects the sky beautifully. 📍Sipadan-Kapalai Dive Resort, Semporna, Sabah, Malaysia We spent the morning snorkeling 🤿 in the shallow waters around Kapalai, where we encountered vibrant coral reefs and schools of tropical fish 🐠 For those with an underwater camera, this is the best time to capture marine life as the sunlight penetrates the water perfectly between 9 AM and 11 AM ⛅️ The resort’s jetty is another fantastic spot for photos, offering a stunning contrast of turquoise waters against the rustic wooden structures. 📍Snorkeling Area, Kapalai Island, Semporna, Sabah, Malaysia One of the highlights of our trip was exploring the hidden sandbank that appears during low tide. We highly recommend visiting between 4 PM and 5 PM when the tides are low, revealing a pristine white sand patch surrounded by shallow waters 🌊 This is one of the most breathtaking photo spots 📸 where you can get incredible shots of the endless ocean blending with the sky.
